Joseph Ay- tona, CPM on Sept. 8-9, who traveled from Kentucky to give the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration chapel the “boost” it needed. Fr. Aytona preached at all five Masses and moved many hearts to sign up for a weekly adoration hour. Father shared at each Mass that “our great- est desire in life should be to go to Heaven and the surest way there is to develop devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.” Since 2011, the Christ the King Perpetual Adoration Cha- pel has been guarded around the clock by more than 400 weekly “guardians,” which allows for over more than 1,000 walk-in visitors to the chapel weekly. As the only Perpetual Eucha- ristic Adoration site in Mobile and Baldwin counties, Christ the King’s PEA chapel draws weekly guardians from Mobile, Loxley, Gulf Shores, Atmore, Spanish Fort, Daphne, Mon- trose, Fairhope and Point Clear. — For more information on becoming a weekly guardian, visit ctkdaphne.org/become-a-guard- ian or call 251-626-7427.
