Warren Wall and I) both saw it as a way to bring families to- gether, to experi- ence Eucharistic Adoration in a way that’s very personal, that is led in worship.” The evening begins with Ro- sary at 6:45 p.m., followed by Ado- ration at 7 p.m. and a concert at 8:15 p.m. featur- ing Lee Roessler and Jon Martin. Roessler and Martin are among a group of more than 20 Catholic musicians that are touring the country as part of the “177 Project.” Karolenko said the music can help draw the faithful together. “A lot of research shows that people singing together bonds people because signing out loud is vulnerable,”Karolenko said. “Any vulnerable act will draw people together and bond them. That in itself is a bonding experience for the communi- ty. Music just lifts your mind and heart higher. It’s a form of art and draws our heart and mind outside of our- selves and to a higher reality, ideally to God. “Even in silent Adoration we can get very dis- tracted. I think music will help people enter in more fully into the Holy Hour. The campaign kicked off around Labor Day and is expected to be wrapped up dur- ing Advent. “It’s an event for everyone,” Karolenko said. “Even if you’ve never been to Eucharistic adoration be- fore, or not familiar with it, you can come and be led in worship and led by these musicians to encounter the Lord in a deeper way.” — For more information and to obtain tickets, visit www.the177project.com .
