PIUS X “Fides, Scientia, Ars Ducendi: Faith, Knowledge, Leadership” Our family has been strengthened by Catholic schools through activities such as Mass, sports, and more. There is a bond at Saint Pius X – the faculty treat students as if they are one big family. The children are taught love toward each other, in addition to academics.” —Peggy Barnett, grandparent I have had 15 children in Catholic school.Receiving a Cath- olic education has helped my children make better choices in life – which as a result has made them better Catholic adults. It has been a pleasure having them in Catholic school. —Theresa Jaet, parent, parent of alumni Saint Pius X teaches me everything I need to know. The teachers here all care about each of the students. We learn about God, which a lot of schools can’t teach. —C. I think what really sets Catholic schools apart from all others is the genuine love and support of the peo- ple.The kids, parents and teachers all share a genuine interest in not just producing better test-takers, but raising better people. I have watched kids from all different ages and grades in afterschool care help each other with homework, lift each other up on play- ground equipment, and sincerely seem hap- py to care for and support each other. There is no price tag that I can put on either the quality of the academic education or the love of God and each other that permeates all facets of my daughter’s education. —Kelsi Cole Tippery, parent Photo by Angela Merrick Middle school students Maddox Langham, Keely Givens and Hadley Nall lend a helping hand at the parish food pantry. This is our second year attend- ing St. Vincent de Paul Cath- olic School. Our family has been strengthened by Catholic schools and welcomed as family. With small class sizes the teach- ers are truly able to connect with and know their students better. Also, the teachers are invested in their students’ faith. Regardless of whether a student is Catho- lic or not, they care about their relationship with our Lord and Savior. —Amber Havard, parent I just have to thank my moth- er again for having the wisdom and the goodness to send me to St.Vincent and then toMcGill- Toolen. Without her commit- ted perseverance and good deci- sions, my life could have turned out very differently. —Mike Harp, SVS alumnus Saint Pius X Catholic School 217 South Sage Avenue Mobile, Alabama 36606 www.stpiustenth.com office@stpiustenth.com (251) 473-5004 Open Registration Going on Now Celebrates Catholic Schools Week
