Students, faculty and volunteers from all three campuses gathered together to spend the day in prayer, service and fun. The day began with nearly 1,000 people joining together for schoolwide Mass in the high school gym. After Mass, elementary students enjoyed indoor field day throughout the entire middle and high school cam- pus. As elementary students en- joyed field day, middle and high school students were hard at work serving the community as they participated in their annual Works of Mercy Day. More than 200 high school students went into the com- munity to volunteer at multiple service locations, including Mercy House, Catholic Social Services, Montgomery Chil- dren’s Center, Hope Inspired Ministries, Sav-a-Life, Life on Wheels, Camp Grandview, Montgomery Food Bank, East YMCA and more. The entire middle school student body performed acts of service around the school campus. Some of these projects included weeding and lay- ing fresh pine straw around campus, filling Ziploc bags with toiletries to hand out to those in need in our commu- nity, cleaning middle school classrooms, organizing storage closets and more.
