Leading the way in the fundraising activities for the support of CYO activities were Toy Bowl Queen Whitney Elizabeth Clark and King Peter Ward Muller III of St. Ignatius Catholic School. Other court members included First Lady to the Queen Blakely Ann Boos of St. Mary Catholic School; Second Lady to the Queen An- nabelle Bryant Rockwell of St. Dominic Catholic School; and Third Lady to the Queen Olivia M. Jones of Corpus Christi Catholic School. A total of 142 couples comprised the court. Toy Bowl championship football games took place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Oscar H. Lipscomb Athletic Complex.This year’s Toy Bowl champions were: Division 3 – Corpus Christi Orange; Divi- sion 4 – St. Ignatius; Division 6 – Christ the King. The Toy Bowl capped a football season that included 155 games, with 37 teams, 368 players and 117 coaches from kindergarten through sixth grade. Volleyball champions were also crowned recently. St. Ignatius Gold captured titles in all three divisions - Divi- sion 3, Division 4 and Division 5/6. Runners-up included St. Mary (Division 3), St. Domi- nic (Division 4) and St. Igna- tius Green (Division 5/6).The season included 76 matches, with 19 teams, 175 players and 50 coaches from grades three through six and 25 participants in a kindergarten through sec- ond grade instructional league. The cheerleading season also included 185 cheerleaders with 45 coaches on 19 squads.
