ArchbishopThomas J. Rodi will celebrate the 8:30 a.m.Mass and the breakfast program will follow at about 9 a.m. The breakfast will include a motivational talk on Divine Mercy and second chances by guest speaker and Men of St. Joseph member Tim Anderson. While the event is free, those inter- ested are asked to register at Eventbrite. com. Search for “Brotherhood and Breakfast.” The Men of St. Joseph is a national association of Catholic men which began in Mobile and now includes chapters throughout the country and beyond. According to Bradley Sanders, an MOSJ board of directors member, a group of men began meeting informally at St. Ignatius Parish in Mobile in 2007 to pray and reflect on the Gospel.They called themselves the Men of St. Joseph. A few years later, chapters popped up in four other parishes. The Men of St. Joseph was formally established pursuant to a decree issued by Archbishop Rodi in 2011.There are chapters in 22 U.S. states and six countries. MOSJ meetings take place weekly and its mission is to encourage men to be the spiritual leaders of their families.
