Well, volunteering at Little Sisters of the Poor is like that K-Cup pod.No matter what small task that you help with, it pro- duces a larger amount than you realize from that small task. The family spirit that St.Jeanne Jugan en- couraged is seen not just with the Sisters and the staff, but also with the volunteers.When you do something for someone it makes you feel good.When a Resident sees a volunteer taking time from their busy schedule to visit with them, help in the dining room, drive them to their appointment, etc., it makes them feel good and appreciate the act of kindness given to them. So, no matter what task that you are volunteering at, our Sacred Heart Residence is a two way feeling of ap- preciation.
